On 17 September, we opened our first restaurant in Alicante. You’ll find Hg Portal de Elche in the heart of the city, between La Rambla and La Explanada and just a few minutes from Luceros TRAM station.
It took us a little while to get here, but Alicante feels like a natural fit. Mediterranean food, good ingredients and more time spent around the table. We now have a new place to bring it all together.
Set beneath the ficus trees of Plaza Portal de Elche, our new home covers 467 m² across two floors, with space for 179 people.
Open throughout the day, it’s a generous space made for everything from a quick coffee to a long lunch around the table. Our first Alicante restaurant and, we hope, a place that soon feels at home in the city.
We’ve brought our cooking to Alicante just as you know it. Seasonal ingredients, recipes made fresh every day and olive oil from beginning to end. No ultra processed food, preservatives or artificial additives. Just real, healthy food made properly.
Alongside our full menu, we serve a healthy breakfast and organic, sustainably sourced speciality coffee.
Stay for a meal, order takeaway or choose food delivery when you’d rather eat elsewhere. However you order, everything comes from the same Hg kitchen.
